Make Quinceanera Special with a Cross
November 20, 2008
For young Mexican girls, their Quinceaños marks their transition from girlhood to womanhood. A young girl becomes a young lady or Senorita. This celebration is held on their 15th birthday.
This is a BIG event in the Mexican community. Think of it as the equivalent of a coming out ball or event for a debutant. Many Mexican families go to great lengths to make the Quinceaños memorable for their daughters. Many girls get a big party and dress formally as though they are going to a prom.
Of course it’s about more than just gowns, tiaras and presents. One way you can commemorate a girl’s Quinceaños is to get her a Quinceanera cross engraved with her birthday and name. This is a gift that she can forever cherish as she continues to grow into the woman she is meant to be.
